What is Rolled Ice Cream?

Thai Rolled Ice Cream, also known as Stir-Fried Ice Cream is a frozen sweetened dessert originating as a popular street Thailand in the 2000s. It is made using traditional ice cream ingredients, however, instead of being churned, the mixture is stirred on a frozen pan to incorporate air, along with chosen toppings. The finished ice cream is then rolled and decorated with more toppings, then enjoyed.

 

Slab N Roll is a family-owned ice cream parlour, that specializes in rolled ice cream, scooped ice cream, and other desserts. The parlour first opened in delicious Ste. Marie, during the summer of 2023. That summer was a pleasure for us as we had the chance to make the deliclious treat for everyone. We are now getting ready for our second season for 2024, and are so excited to come back!
